Royal Enfield has teased an updated version of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, with the official launch scheduled for March 27, 2026. This will be the first major update for the motorcycle since its debut in 2024. While the teaser itself doesn’t reveal many details, here’s what we can expect from the refreshed model.
2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: What to expect
While the overall design is expected to remain familiar, the update could bring new colour options and possibly a new variant to keep the model fresh. The Guerrilla 450 is currently offered in shades like Brava Blue, Shadow Ash, Peix Bronze, Smoke Silver, Playa Black and Gold Dip, and more choices could be added to the lineup.
Mechanically, the motorcycle is likely to stay largely unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the 452 cc, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine. This engine produces around 40 hp and 40 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. However, the update could focus on improving the riding experience. The company is expected to introduce grippier, road-biased tyres for better traction, along with revised suspension damping. In terms of features, the updated Guerrilla 450 may get additions like traction control and cruise control. The hardware setup is expected to remain the same, including 43 mm telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, along with disc brakes at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS. The bike will continue to ride on 17-inch wheels.Currently, the model is priced from Rs 2.56 lakh, ex-showroom. All details will be confirmed at the official launch tomorrow.
