Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2026: When will KSEAB release Class 12 results? Here's what we know

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is expected to announce the Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2026 soon. According to media reports, the board is likely to declare the Class 12 results on April 7, 2026.The Karnataka 2nd PUC examinations were conducted between February 28 and March 17, 2026. A total of 7,10,363 students appeared for the exams this year.Once released, students will be able to check their results on the official websites — karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in. The results will also be available on DigiLocker.

DigiLocker confirms result availability

In a post shared on X yesterday, April 3, DigiLocker announced that Karnataka Class 12 results will be available soon.“Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board, Class XII Results 2026 will soon be available on DigiLocker,” the post said.“No queues, no paperwork — access your results securely. Stay tuned and be ready to check your results instantly [at] digilocker.gov.in,” the post added.

Over 7 lakh students appeared this year

Out of the 7.10 lakh students who registered for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams:

  • 2,92,645 students appeared from the Science stream
  • 2,11,174 students appeared from the Commerce stream
  • 1,42,982 students appeared from the Arts stream

The exams were conducted across 1,217 examination centres in the state.

Three annual exams introduced

This year, KSEAB conducted three annual examinations — Exam 1, Exam 2, and Exam 3 — for second PUC students. The Karnataka School Education Department introduced this system to gradually remove the concept of supplementary examinations.

Last year’s result details

Last year, Karnataka 2nd PUC results were declared on April 8, after exams were held between March 1 and March 20.

  • Overall pass percentage: 73.45%
  • Students passed: 4,68,439 out of 6,37,805
  • Stream-wise pass percentage (2025)
  • Science: 82.45%
  • Commerce: 76.07%
  • Arts: 53.29%

In 2024, a total of 6,81,079 students appeared for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams. Out of these, 5,52,690 students passed, recording an overall pass percentage of 81.15%. The results were announced on April 10, 2024.

  3. Enter your registration number and date of birth
