NEET admit card 2026: The National Testing Agency has deferred the release of NEET UG 2026 admit cards and announced that hall tickets will now be made available to all candidates by 10 AM on Monday, April 27, according to a notice issued through its official X account.The update comes a week before the May 3 medical entrance examination and changes expectations around the admit card release that candidates had been anticipating today. With the revised timeline now confirmed, candidates will be able to download their hall tickets through the official NEET portal once the link is activated.NTA announces revised admit card release scheduleIn its message to candidates, the National Testing Agency said NEET admit cards would be available to all registered aspirants by 10 AM on April 27. No change has been announced in the examination date or examination timings, with NEET UG remaining scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm in a single shift.The agency did not indicate any alteration in examination centres, reporting arrangements or other candidate instructions. The postponement relates only to the timing of admit card availability.Candidates advised to use Sunday for revisionAlongside the announcement, NTA urged candidates to use the last Sunday before the examination for a practice test or revision of concepts. The message also advised aspirants to remain calm and stay hydrated as final preparations continue.The advisory comes as lakhs of candidates prepare for the national-level undergraduate medical entrance examination, which will be conducted for admissions to MBBS, BDS and allied medical courses.Hall tickets to carry centre and exam detailsOnce released, the admit card will contain candidate details including name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time, test centre code and address. Candidates will be required to carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with valid government identity proof and passport-sized photographs to the examination centre.The admit card will be available only online through official websites including neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates will be able to access the document using their application number and password or date of birth.Exam schedule remains unchangedDespite the deferment in admit card release, the examination schedule remains unchanged. NEET UG 2026 is set to be conducted on May 3 with 180 compulsory questions carrying a total of 720 marks across Physics, Chemistry and Biology.Candidates have also been reminded to continue following only official channels for updates, amid repeated warnings by the agency against misinformation and unverified online claims related to the examination.
