Actor Erich Bergen, as reported by Page Six, attended and hosted the recent Gateway Cancer event where he was invited on stage to talk about his testicular cancer journey. He opened up about being diagnosed with the disease at the mere age of 27 and how hard it was to cope with everything at that age.He quipped, “It’s not lost on me that I’m here at 40 years old, survivor of this disease, portraying someone who lost their battle with the same disease at the same age.” He referred to his latest project, ‘Love Story,’ where he will play Anthony Radziwill, John F. Kennedy Jr.’s cousin and best friend, who also had testicular cancer.He had only opened up about his diagnosis a week ago on social media while announcing his casting as Anthony in ‘Love Story.’ His post read, “I’m very grateful to be here today to tell my story and a little bit of Anthony’s.”Radziwill survived testicular cancer but passed away 10 years after his diagnosis due to another form of cancer.
