‘Malcolm in the Middle’ alum Frankie Muniz recently shared an emotional note about his everyday life on social media. The actor revealed that he has hit rock bottom in the past couple of weeks and that he has been dealing with a lot of things in life.
Frankie Muniz shares an emotional update about life
Frankie Muniz posted a photo of himself on his Instagram and shared an emotional note about how the past six weeks of his life have been extremely hard on him. He started the post off by sharing, “The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from. Everything [has] felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn’t wish this season on anyone.”The 40-year-old reflected on life, further sharing that he has had a lot of time these past couple of weeks to understand his actions. He added, “I’ve had time to sit with myself, do real self-reflection, and finally see the areas of my life that need work if I want to become a better version of me. Not the polished version I show the world … the actual one.”
Frankie Muniz on hitting rock bottom in his life
He continued on about hitting rock bottom and how he will be taking this opportunity to work on himself.“I read that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the thing that wakes you up. It forces the changes you needed to make all along so you can live the best life possible. That idea has been sitting with me. In five years I believe I’ll look back at this exact low point and feel grateful for it, because the high I’ll be standing on then only exists because I went through this,” he further shared.Muniz then concluded the post by sharing that “This isn’t the end of the story,” but instead, he called this point of his life something that needs to happen for him to grow as a person. “I’m choosing to treat this season as the foundation, not the finish line. If you’re in a low place right now too, you’re not broken. You’re being rebuilt. “Let’s keep going!” he commented. At the time of writing, Muniz did not share any updates about what had happened in his life that prompted him to post the note online.

Shortly after his post went viral, estranged wife, Paige Price, shared a cryptic message about ‘perspective’. Taking to her Instagram Story, she posted a video of herself making a wax seal and writing, “Life is all about perspective. If you ask the grass, the zebra is the monster and the lion is the protector.”
