When I realised that the film had been made to tarnish the name of a superstar and the reputation of Rajasthan’s culture, my ethics didn’t allow me to be a part of the propaganda against a senior actor. Following creative differences with makers, I decided to distance myself from the film.”Mishra further claimed that the makers never shared the script with him. Regarding alleged threats from the Bishnoi community, he was categorical, saying there was “no question” of receiving any such threats, adding that it is his own community. He said films that highlight the community’s contributions to society would be more meaningful and that the legal dispute should be left to the judiciary.
