RIE CEE 2026 result declared

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced the Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Examination (RIE CEE) 2026 result. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can now download their rank cards from the official website, cee.ncert.gov.in, by logging in with their registration number and password.The RIE CEE 2026 rank card includes important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, registration number, marks obtained, qualifying status and rank. Candidates should carefully check all the details mentioned on the scorecard and keep a printed copy for the admission process.

RIE CEE 2026 seat matrix

NCERT will conduct the RIE CEE 2026 counselling process for admission to teacher education programmes offered at its Regional Institutes of Education.According to the official seat matrix:

  • RIE Ajmer offers 55 seats each in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Science and Mathematics), 2-year Bachelor of Education (Social Science and Language) and 2-year Master of Education programmes.
  • RIE Bhopal has 55 seats each in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Science and Mathematics), 2-year Bachelor of Education (Social Science and Language), 2-year Master of Education and 3-year integrated Bachelor of Education-Master of Education programmes.
  • RIE Bhubaneswar offers 55 seats each in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Science and Mathematics), 2-year Bachelor of Education (Social Science and Language) and 2-year Master of Education programmes.
  • RIE Mysore has 22 seats each in the 6-year integrated Master of Science Education programme for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It also offers 27 seats in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Science and Mathematics), 28 seats in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Social Science and Language), and 55 seats in the 2-year Master of Education programme.
  • North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Shillong offers 28 seats in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Science and Mathematics) programme and 27 seats in the 2-year Bachelor of Education (Social Science and Language) programme.
  • RIE Nellore offers 55 seats in the 2-year Master of Arts in Education Technology programme.

Candidates who have qualified in the entrance examination will have to take part in the RIE CEE 2026 counselling process. During counselling, they will need to complete registration, document verification and seat allotment as per the schedule announced by NCERT. Final admission will be offered based on the candidate’s merit rank, programme preference and seat availability.
