Pankaj Tripathi explains why he worked without a fee

Alongside the trailer launch, Pankaj Tripathi recently spoke to Mid Day about his decision to waive his remuneration for the project. The actor explained that he wanted to support director Amit Rai and contribute to a film that places storytelling above commercial considerations. Tripathi revealed that his long association with producer Ajay Rai and director Amit Rai played an important role in his decision. Although he was initially scheduled to shoot for only a few days, he voluntarily extended his stay and even arranged local support for the production. He shared, “The story is set in Bihar. Amit asked me to shoot for four days, and I told him I would come for six. I also called my friends in Bihar and we supported the film in every way. Eventually, I stayed for seven days.” ‘Ohh My Dog’ promises to be more than just a family entertainer. Backed by an ensemble cast and supported by Oscar, Bruno, and over 250 dogs, the film presents a story that appeals to both children and adults.Directed by Amit Rai, Ohh My Dog is all set to arrive in theatres on July 31.
