The wait for the first official trailer of Nitesh Tiwari‘s ‘Ramayana‘ may finally be nearing its end, with producer Namit Malhotra teasing that the highly anticipated trailer will be unveiled “very, very soon.”

Speaking about the film’s promotional rollout at San Diego Comic-Con, Malhotra confirmed to The Climax India, “We just announced, a while before the panel that Sony Pictures Entertainment is ggoing to be distributing ‘Ramayana’ globally. That obviously means that the trailers are hot on the heels. We showed the trailer at the panel and I think we’ll be launching that very, very soon. So stay tuned. It could be any day.“

The trailer of ‘Ramayana’ was screened at SDCC, where it received an enthusiastic response from international audiences. The preview offered fans their first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, and several other members of the ensemble cast. Although the footage was intended exclusively for Comic-Con attendees, leaked clips and images quickly surfaced online.According to multiple reports, the trailer that was supposed to release on July 24, is now expected to release digitally on July 29, 2026, allowing audiences around the world to get their first official look at the mythological epic.

Reports further suggest that following its online debut, the trailer will also be attached to theatrical screenings of Sony Pictures’ ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ across India, giving moviegoers the opportunity to watch it on the big screen. Industry buzz also claims the trailer will have a runtime of approximately 4 minutes and 15 seconds.Adding to the excitement, ‘Spider-Man’ is also expected to feature the theatrical debut of Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ trailer in India, which is reportedly 2 minutes and 28 seconds long.
