SSC JE final result 2025 declared

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the final result of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025. Along with the result, the commission has released the final allocation of candidates after completing the sliding and identity verification process.According to the official notice, 1,731 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process. Their names have been published in the final selection list available on the commission’s official website.The commission said candidates were required to attend the sliding and identity verification process on July 20 and 21, 2026. Those who did not appear were treated as absent and were not considered for the final result.During the allocation process, 585 candidates selected the ‘Fix’ option, 1,028 selected ‘Float’, while 118 candidates received fresh allocations against vacancies created due to absent candidates.The final allocation has been made based on candidates’ merit, their preferred posts submitted during the application process, and the Fix or Float option chosen during the sliding process.

Category-wise shortlisted candidates

As per the official data, all 1,731 reported vacancies have been filled through the provisional recommendations. The category-wise breakup is as follows:

  • Scheduled Castes (SC): 270
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST): 122
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 432
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 127
  • Unreserved (UR): 780

What happens next?

The commission has said that the document verification and appointment process will now be carried out by the concerned user departments. Candidates who do not receive any communication from their allotted department within six months of the declaration of the final result should contact the concerned department directly. SSC will not handle queries related to document verification or appointment after the final result.The notification also states that no reserve list or waiting list has been prepared. Any vacancies arising due to candidates not joining will be carried forward by the respective departments in future recruitment cycles.

Fresh ranks issued

SSC has assigned fresh ranks to all candidates included in the final result. These ranks will replace those released earlier during the first round of tentative allocation. However, other details mentioned in the earlier allocation notice will remain valid wherever they do not conflict with the final result.The commission has also informed candidates that the final answer key, response sheet and detailed marks of both selected and non-selected candidates will be uploaded on its website in due course.
